www.starfall.com
I wonder why I didn’t mention this fascinating resource before. This is probably the most well-known website dedicated to reading. It is meant for children but you can use it for adult beginners as well.

hotpot.uvic.ca
Finally I’ve got this Hot Potatoes software and how use it all the time. It’s really helpful.

www.eslprintables.com
This is something like an exchange system for English teachers. You upload your own worksheets (games, ideas etc.) and get points for this. When you have enough points you are allowed to download other teachers’ materials.

dictionary.reference.com
Look up a lot of dictionaries at once!

www.toolsforeducators.com
An amazing place: will definitely help you create board games, worksheets etc.

teachingbetter.com
A new website. I haven’t yet tried it out, but obviously there are a lot of teaching resources and useful links.

storynory.com
Nice stories for kids. What is peculiar is that all the stories are accompanied with audio.

www.timesaversforteachers.com
Just another teaching site.

www.englishforkids.ru
Russian website: quite nice!

strictly4myteacherz.wordpress.com
The English teacher’s blog: a lot of wonderful ideas for group and one-to-one teaching.

This entry is mostly for me and for other English language teachers. I’d like to post some links to the sites dedicated to English language learning. Unfortunately, I always have troubles with my browser, so these links often disappear from my hard disk. That’s why I’d like to post them here. The idea is having them all at my fingertips at any time. The list is to be regularly updated. Any additions are welcome!

www.englishtips.org
This site is well known all over the world. It contains a HUGE amount of books, coursebooks, audios, videos, dictionaries and multimedia in English. Since everything about learning English is improperly expensive, you can download almost all this stuff here for free.

www.efl.ru
The site is quite useful itself, but the most helpful thing is the forum. I really like skimming through ‘Teaching English’ section sometimes.

www.agendaweb.org
A lot of exercises on grammar, vocabulary, functions; listening and reading activities; videos. Very useful!

www.britishcouncil.org/kids.htm
I really like their flashcards. ) Also: songs, stories, games, topics, exercises. Be sure to check out www.britishcouncil.org itself.

www.eslgold.com, www.eslpartyland.com, www.esl-lab.com
All quite the same.

www.mes-english.com
I adore this site and I ADORE their flashcards!

www.ldoceonline.com
Logman Dictionary of Contemporary English online.

www.merriam-webster.com
Merriam-Webster.

www.shiporsheep.com
Good pronunciation resources.

www.howjsay.com
English Pronunciation Dictionary.
